oh. went to my neighbourhood park just now to check out if kids still had childhood.
i mean childhood in the sense that every saturday afternoon or every weekday afternoon. kids run around the playground lyke nobody's business. queue up for the swing which always seemed occupied. and adults who stay there for lets say 2mins. they will asked themself if they were in the zoo or a playground. those were the kiddy days.
oh wait. lets start with the younger ones first. 2 to 4 years old. parents or maid will bring you along. then they will carry you up onto the swing or those slides. then you will try to run away from your parents and find people of your own age.
and then you grow up. lets say 5 to 7 years old. these are the most hetic days. the days your parents would wish u'll never born as you scream and run around lyke there's no tomorrow. you will start getting your own gang at the park and lets say know a few name or so? and here comes the big group games lyke catching, blind man, ice and water, fire and ice, police and thief. you name it, these kids got it. and soon the game began with laugther, screams. wellx. i saw more den 10 falls today but nothing was serious. most kids just get up on their feet again and start running. hMms. wellx, lets say a big fall happened and it starts bleeding. most of the time, you would cry. maybe your friends might come around. but the funny thing is nobody knows what to do. and then an adult came and blah blah blah. you went home. and then, you remembered all the fun you were having before the fall. how you wished you din fall. daah. and the following week. you will start begging your parents to let you go and play again. despite the fact that it hurts when you walk or run. wellx.
and then 8 and above, you are prolly planning some dumb obstacle course that me and my cousins used to do in the park. at a point of time i played hide and seek. omgosh it was so cool. you know me and i already forgotten who the person is, hide? we hide under the drain. wahax. best place can. its lyke we hear the "catchers" talking and walking on top of us. so corny rights. i bet with you. 100% wont get caught one. waHAx. but sadly that wasnt my brilliant idea..
i dont know if you think back now how many risk-taking incidents happened at the playground. you think back on all the dumb stuffs you did. monkey bars can become a stunt bar in which you sit on top of it and think you own the world. lol. those slides. the circular type? supposed to slide through it. then came those people who slide on the top of the circular slides. dont know if you understand but wellx. then came the seesaw which had springs. utterly horrible aint it? and then brilliant souls added excitement to it. W00t. its the standing see-saw. waha. bad experience for me. fell back once before. back hurt for 3 days. but now im still alive and kicking. and for some they had the merry go round. wahax. that insane equipment can really make people PUKE. i repeat its PUKE lah. lol. oh oh. the swing. i dont know when did it become cool to stand on a swing. but its real dangerous lah.
w00t. all those danger in the playground. guess no one would remember if i didnt remind rights? ha. how many times our life were on the bricks. wahax.
and playground is a place which all kids should go. lol. without it, kids got no childhood.
